3CX announced on June 4, 2014 that they have acquired e-works, the Italy based video conferencing developer for it’s revolutionary WebRTC technology to deliver integrated, client-free web conferencing. 3CX initially licensed e-works’ web conferencing technology in October 2013, 3CX has now acquired the company as part of its strategic plan for its video conferencing solution, 3CX WebMeeting.
e-works is an Italian company which was founded in 1999 and focuses on real time video communication and collaboration. e-works has developed a complete and organic video collaboration platform for Unified Communications.
