$100M Series E Funding

Overview

On May 4, 2015 Twilio, a software and cloud-based communications platform, announced that they have received $100 Million in Series E funding. Twilio highly proficient in cloud communication that enable users to use standard web languages to build voice, VoIP and SMS apps via a web API. It had been catering to its clients since long time and have earned their admiration for it the segment it’s witnessing a pleasant change with growing awareness among users and service providers.

Twilio has already raised over $103M funding in previous rounds, with major a contribution from their Series D round where they raised $70M for the company. This has helped them to improve quality services and increase development. The newly acquired funding has pushed the company’s valuation to $1.1 billion and have enhanced its prospects.
