$8 Million in Series A Funding

Overview

On September 15, 2016, Aircall, a Paris startup that builds cloud-based call centre software, raised $8 million in a Series A round led by Balderton Capital. In the new round of funding the company will enhance its international growth, particularly in the US where it has a New York office. Aircall currently has close to 2,000 customers globally and intends to double its workforce in the next year. Its solution allows customers to build their own phone support network in their browser. Aircall launched in 2014 and previously raised $2.75 million from Balderton Capital in January of this year following a $800,000 round from eFounders, NewFund and several business angels.
