$18 Million in Series C Funding
On January 26, 2017, CafeX Communications, a NYC-based provider of real-time digital engagement solutions, closed $18M in Series C funding. The round was led by Rakuten, Inc., parent company of Rakuten Communications. The Japan-based provider of enterprise telecommunications services and solutions.
The company, has raised $50M through three funding rounds since 2013. They intend to use the funds for globalization development activities as well as expansion into new geographic regions.
Led by CEO, Rami Musallam, CafeX provides global financial services, insurance, retail and other industry companies with a real-time digital engagement product portfolio for improving the ways businesses collaborate within web and mobile applications.
