$5 Million in Series A Funding

Vedantu announced on May 7, 2015 that they have received $5M Series A funding from Accel Partners and Tiger Global. The funding will allow Vedantu to expand their team and accelerate the innovation efforts at Vedantu to make Live Online 1-to-1 Tutoring the most effective mode of teaching and learning possible. It will gain people’s trust by making them aware of the immense potential that lies in Live 1-to-1 Tutoring and in-turn bringing a revolution in the way we teach and learn is Vedantu’s long term endeavour.

Vedantu is a venture by IITians who are teachers themselves. The founders are a perfect combination of Teachers and Hackers, who have personally taught and mentored more than 10,000 students between them and have created scalable web products reaching millions of users. Vedantu is conceptualized with an aim to make ‘Quality Education Accessible’ and their vision is to create a ‘Knowledge Network’ where a learner and a learned can be connected – Anytime, Anywhere
